All the concrete needs to be poured all at once. This consists of a poured concrete spanning. Retaining walls are typically built to create a flat area on a sloped parcel or to control erosion by holding back soil, but they can also be an attractive addition, adding colors and the most common materials for building retaining walls are wood, interlocking blocks, stone or poured concrete.
Then, use the marking paint and measuring tape to lay out and mark the location for the footings.
Retaining walls must be stronger than freestanding walls. We hope you all enjoy part 3 and remember to. A poured concrete wall with rebar does not need to be thick to be strong. Whether or not you need footings depends on the height of the wall and slope of the base.
