18+ Retaining Wall Drainage Pipe
Pictures. For those that will insist upon the drainage pipe, what is the best way to core through a 10 wall to accomodate a 4 o pipe? Retaining walls allow steep, unusable slopes to be avoided.

I am going to put in a drainage pipe wraped in sock and landscapre between the rock and dirt. Because the grade of this yard has a slight slope that will promote water runoff, we can skip this step on this project, but we will add gravel for drainage and back fill with dirt. If new gutters are put on the house, or a new sprinkler system is.
This should be a perforated pipe, to allow water to enter it.
I have torn down the wall and have a few questions. Drain pipes used in toe drain applications must be properly vented a minimum of every 50 ft. Retaining walls are useful and attractive features in many yards, but they are prone to failure if proper drainage is not considered. Channels and drainage pipes can be integrated into the construction to provide further measures for proper drainage and water control.
